Bursa Malaysia Berhad is an exchange holding company. The Company’s principal activities are treasury management and the provision of management and administrative services to its subsidiaries. It operates through four segments: Securities Market, which consists of the provision and operation of the listing, trading, clearing, and depository services, and provision and dissemination of information relating to equity securities quoted on the securities exchange; Derivatives Market, which consists of the provision and operation of the trading, clearing, depository services and provision and dissemination of information relating to derivative products quoted on the derivatives exchange; Exchange Holding Company, which refers to the Company’s operations functioning as an investment holding company, and Others, which consists of the provision of a Sha’riah compliant commodity trading platform, a reporting platform for bond traders and the provision of an exchange for the offshore market.
