Southern Acids (M) Berhad is an investment holding company. The Company’s principal activity is the provision of management services to the subsidiary companies. Its segments include manufacturing and marketing of oleo chemical products; managing and operating of private hospital; sales of oil palm fruit and crude palm oil; warehousing and bulk conveyor operations, and others. Its core businesses include Oleochemical, Plantation and Milling, and Healthcare. The principal activities of Oleochemical business involve manufacturing and marketing of fatty acids and glycerin. In Indonesia, the Company, through its sub-subsidiaries, has over two palm oil mills with a total milling capacity of approximately 100 metric tons per hour. In Peninsular Malaysia, it has a total of over 154.9 hectares of matured area and approximately 76.1 hectares of immature area of cultivation. Its medical center, Sri Kota Specialist Medical Centre (Sri Kota) is a 232-bed tertiary private medical center in Klang.
