AmFIRST Real Estate Investment Trust (AmFIRST REIT) is a commercial real estate investment trust (REIT). The Trust holds a portfolio of over 10 properties located in Klang Valley (including Cyberjaya), Melaka and Penang, with a total net lettable area of approximately 3.2 million square feet. The Trust’s primary investment objective is to own and invest in real estate and real estate-related assets, whether directly or indirectly, through the ownership of single-purpose companies whose principal assets consist of real estate and real estate-related assets. AmFIRST REIT’s investment objectives are to deliver regular and stable income distributions to Unitholders and to achieve long-term growth in the net asset value per unit through management of the Trust’s portfolio of assets and acquisition of yield accretive properties. It invests in various sectors, including retail, hypermarket, hospitality and trading. Am ARA REIT Managers Sdn Bhd is the Trust’s manager.
