Parkson Holdings Berhad is an investment holding company. The Company is engaged in the operation of the Parkson and Centro brands department stores. The Company’s segments are Retailing, which is engaged in the operation and management of retail stores in Malaysia, the People’s Republic of China, Vietnam, Myanmar and Indonesia, and Property and others, which is engaged in the operation of food and beverage businesses, credit services, theme park, education and nursery centers, and investment holding. Its retail businesses is undertaken by the two listed subsidiaries, namely Parkson Retail Group Limited, which operates Parkson department stores in China, and Parkson Retail Asia Limited, which operates retail stores in Southeast Asia. Its stores offer a range of international brands of fashion and lifestyle related merchandise focusing on approximately four main categories namely, fashion and apparel, cosmetics and accessories, household and electrical, and groceries and perishables.
