Hong Leong Industries Berhad is an investment holding company. The Company’s segments include Consumer Products and Industrial Products. The Consumer Products segment is engaged in the manufacturing, assembly and distribution of motorcycles, scooters and related parts and products, as well as manufacturing and sale of ceramic tiles. Its Industrial Products segment is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of fiber cement and concrete roofing products. The Company, through its associated companies, is involved in the manufacture, assembly and distribution of motorcycles, motorcycle engines and spare parts, as well as manufacture and sale of newsprint and related paper products. The Company’s subsidiary, Hume Cemboard Industries Sdn Bhd (HCI), produces cellulose fiber cement boards, which are marketed and distributed under the PRIMA brand name. HCI offers various industrialized building systems (IBS) wall solutions, such as PRIMA Drywall and PRIMA Solid Wall Systems.
