Southern Steel Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. The Company is involved in the manufacturing, sale and trading in billets, steel bars and wire rods. The Company’s segments include Steel products, and Investment holding and others. The Company’s subsidiaries are engaged in manufacturing, sale and trading in wire mesh, pre-stressed concrete bars and wires, hot rolled steel coils, steel pipes, steel wires and fencing panels, and investment holding. The Company, along with its subsidiaries, offers billets, such as Billet (Welding Quality); steel bar, such as Bar (Construction Bar) and Bar (Cut and Bent); wire rod, such as Wire Rod (Spun Pile) and Wire Rod (Welding Quality); mesh, such as Fabric Mesh (Engineered Mesh), Fence (Fencing Panels) and Mesh (Concrete Wire); pre-stressed concrete products, and pipes, such as Firex Sprinkler Pipe, UltraGal In Line Galvanized Pipe and Smartube Steel Electrical Conduit Pipe.
