AL-SALAM REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT TRUST (the Trust) is a Malaysia-based real estate investment trust (REIT). The principal activity of the Trust is to invest in Shariah-compliant properties. The Trust’s segments include Retail; Office, and Food and beverage (F&B), which consist of restaurant and non-restaurant outlets. The Trust is engaged in investing, directly and indirectly, in a diversified Shariah-compliant portfolio with income producing real estate, which are used for commercial retail, office and industrial purposes in Malaysia, as well as real estate-related assets. The Trust’s property portfolio includes KOMTAR JBCC, Menara KOMTAR, @Mart Kempas, KFCH International College, 22 KFC and Pizza Hut Restaurant outlets, five non-restaurant properties and a College building. Damansara REIT Managers Sdn Berhad is the manager of the trust.
