Malaysian Bulk Carriers Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. The Company is engaged in international shipping. The Company’s segments include Bulkers, Tankers, Ship brokerage and management, and Investment holding and others. The Company owns and operates a fleet of vessels, which includes dry bulk carriers and product tankers. The Company’s bulk carriers are involved in the transportation of dry cargoes consisting of major bulks, such as iron ore, coal (steaming and coking coals), grains, and minor bulks, such as sugar, coke and fertilizers. The Company also charters-in third party vessels to service contracts of affreightment commitments. The tanker division operates a fleet of double hull tankers, which are engaged primarily in the seaborne transportation of clean petroleum products, chemicals and vegetable oils. The Company’s ship management involves marine operations, technical management of vessels, ship supplies and crewing.
