Ranhill Holdings Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. The Company is engaged in power and environment businesses. The Company’s segments are Environment, Power and Others. The environment sector provides water supply services, and operates water and wastewater treatment plants. The Company also provides specialized services in the management and optimization of water utility assets. In the power sector, the Company owns and operates approximately two 190 megawatts combined cycle gas turbine power plants in Sabah, Malaysia on a build-operate-own (BOO) and build-operated-transfer (BOT) basis respectively. The other segment consists of investment holding and provision of management services to subsidiaries. The Company’s operations and services are primarily in Malaysia, and its international operations are centered in Asian markets, such as China and Thailand. Ranhill Capital Sdn. Bhd. is the subsidiary of the Company.
