The Company, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the management and oversight of the oil production operations at the Rakushechnoye Oil and Gas Field, as well as the provision of a gas development, implementation and production plan for the same field. The Rakushechnoye Field has an oil and gas reserve of approximately 139.4 million barrels of oil equivalent. It is located in Western Kazakhstan, on the Mangyshlak Peninsula, approximately 20 kilometers inland from the Caspian Sea and approximately 110 kilometers southeast of Aktau, a regional center. The Company’s subsidiaries include Sumatec Corporation Sdn. Bhd. and Sumatec Oil and Gas LLP, which are involved in oil and gas field development services.
