UPA Corporation Berhad is an investment holding company. The Company is engaged in the provision of management services. The Company operates through two segments: Manufacturing and Machine trading. The manufacturing segment is engaged in the manufacturing of paper-based products and plastic products. The Machine trading segment is engaged in selling, reconditioning and servicing of printing and printing related machines. The Company’s subsidiaries include UPA Press Sdn Bhd, which is engaged in manufacturing of diaries and other paper related products; UPA Machinery Sdn Bhd, which operates as an agent for Komori, the Japanese brand of printing machine and is also engaged in reconditioning and refurbishment of used Web printing machinery, sheet fed printing machinery and book binding machinery, and Macro Plastic Sdn Bhd, which is engaged in the manufacturing of packaging material in rigid films.
